Artificial Intelligence Engineer

The Opportunity

I'm currently working with a fast-growing SaaS technology company that is looking to hire an AI Engineer to help drive the next phase of its AI and machine learning capabilities.

This is an opportunity to join a business with an established international customer base and a significant investment in AI-driven product development. You'll be building and deploying production-grade AI solutions that are used by real customers, working closely with senior leadership and engineering teams in a highly collaborative environment.

The Role

As an AI Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and deploying machine learning and Generative AI solutions across a range of projects, including:

• Intelligent document processing and classification
• NLP and knowledge extraction from documents, emails, and meetings
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and vector search
• AI agents and workflow automation
• Predictive analytics and recommendation models
• Experimentation and optimisation initiatives

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong machine learning and NLP experience
• Experience working with Large Language Models, embeddings, and RAG architectures
• Strong Python skills with experience using:
• PyTorch
• Hugging Face
• Scikit-learn
• Pandas
• Experience deploying ML models into production environments
• Familiarity with vector databases and MLOps practices
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI agents or multi-agent systems
• OCR and document processing experience
• Cloud, CI/CD, and MLOps exposure
• Experience within SaaS or workflow automation environments
• Dutch language skills
