Artificial Intelligence Engineer

As an AI Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the next generation of legal technology. You'll design and deploy AI-driven solutions that help legal and compliance teams work more efficiently, leveraging technologies such as LLMs, document intelligence, and automation to transform how legal information is analysed and utilised.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI/ML models for legal and regulatory applications including contract analysis, legal document classification, risk detection, compliance monitoring, legal research assistance, and workflow automation
• Design and optimize NLP and Generative AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and semantic search technologies
• Create efficient preprocessing and feature engineering workflows for complex datasets including legal documents, contracts, case law, regulatory texts, and unstructured content
• Deploy and maintain AI applications across cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Contribute to modern MLOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, model versioning, governance, and scalable AI infrastructure

Your Profile

• 2–8 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, NLP Engineering, or a related field
• Strong Python development skills
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying ML systems in production environments
• Experience with NLP, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases, and document intelligence solutions
• Understanding of data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT processes, knowledge retrieval systems, and unstructured data pipelines
• Exposure to LegalTech, regulatory technology (RegTech), compliance platforms, contract lifecycle management, eDiscovery, or legal operations technology is highly beneficial
• Familiarity with legal workflows, compliance requirements, or regulatory frameworks is considered a strong advantage
