We're looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to help shape and evolve the platform that powers all Onoff products. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine technical expertise with team leadership, helping us build reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient systems for the future.

You'll spend most of your time solving technical challenges, while also mentoring a talented DevOps team and helping drive infrastructure strategy across the company.

What You'll Be Doing

💡 Lead & Mentor – Guide and develop a team of DevOps engineers while staying hands-on with technical challenges.

☁️ Build for Scale – Design, operate, and evolve AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure that supports Onoff's global growth.

🚀 Drive Automation – Improve Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and operational workflows to increase efficiency and reliability.

📊 Ensure Reliability – Own monitoring, observability, incident management, and continuous improvements to platform performance.

🔒 Optimise & Protect – Balance cloud costs, security, disaster recovery, and business continuity to keep our platform resilient.

🤝 Collaborate & Influence – Partner with engineering, product, and leadership teams to align infrastructure with business goals.

🛠 What You Bring

✔ Proven experience leading DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure teams in SaaS, telecom, or large-scale technology environments

✔ Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code

✔ Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident management tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)

✔ A hands-on leadership mindset: you enjoy mentoring others while staying close to the technology

✔ Strong technical judgement: you balance reliability, scalability, security, and cost

✔ A continuous improvement mentality: you automate, optimise, and challenge the status quo
