Our client is looking for a Data Analyst / Data Scientist to turn business data into actionable insights and drive performance across the organization.
Reporting to the Development Director, this role focuses on leveraging data from multiple systems to support strategic decision-making, improve operations, and enable innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from various internal sources
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Develop KPIs, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making and operational improvements
Model Development & Data Solutions
- Build and implement predictive models (e.g., demand forecasting, predictive maintenance)
- Develop decision-support tools using machine learning techniques
- Optimize and automate data-driven processes
Business Impact & Decision Support
- Translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Support business teams in improving service quality and anticipating future needs
- Contribute to overall performance improvement initiatives
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in data science and AI
- Identify opportunities to introduce innovative, data-driven solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams such as operations, marketing, and engineering
- Engage with external stakeholders including clients and public authorities
- Communicate technical insights in a clear and accessible manner
Profile & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Solid experience in data analysis, modeling, and large-scale data handling
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and techniques
- Strong analytical thinking, project management, and statistical skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to mobility or transportation systems (e.g., ticketing systems, RTPI, HASTUS)
