We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong system design, dev-ops, and full-stack expertise who can bring structure, reliability, and scalability to our software development process in addition to developing algorithms for automation and data processing. We are looking for someone who understands the low level and system design challenges to build a product and not just a feature.
You will be part of a small, early and focused team working closely with the company founders.
- Your actions will directly shape and impact the technical advancements.
- You will design, assemble, and test advanced radar systems, including airborne (e.g., drone-based) configurations.
Prior experience with radar, SAR, unmanned systems or robotic systems is a strong plus.
- Low-level design & architecture: building robust foundations for POC, MVP and production systems
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and testable software systems.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting
- DevOps & reliability: ensuring continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring pipelines are in place so we can use our products at any stage and can ship to customers at any moment
- Software development process leadership: ensuring sound engineering principles, coding standards, and documentation practices, enforcing structure, and reducing wasted effort
- Algorithm development: implementing automation logic and data-processing algorithms that power our products. Collaborate with algorithm and AI engineers to implement core signal-processing and automation logic
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of deployed systems
- Hands-on experience with C, C++ and Python.
- Strong background in software architecture, dev-ops, and system design.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring
- Experience with data processing pipelines (bonus if you’ve worked on real-time or signal/data-intensive systems)
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration into production systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to bring clarity and structure to a fast-moving team
- Experience with hardware-integrated products, sensors, or radar systems
- Experience working on defense-grade sensor systems
- Familiarity with radar types: FMCW, pulse-Doppler, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), etc
- Exposure to field software deployment and testing in the defense domain.
Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we strongly encourage you to apply. We value practical experience, problem-solving skills, a start-up-like attitude and a hands-on mindset. If you have worked on software for robotic or UAV systems in any capacity and understand the software side of the RF domain well, this role is for you.
Why us
Join a fast-moving startup working directly with the founders on cutting-edge tech with a direct, real-world impact. What you build here will save lives. We offer competitive compensation, VSOP options, a hands-on environment where ideas turn into prototypes fast, and the chance to shape both the product and the company from the ground up.
Our base is the former Berlin Tegel Airport, complete with a huge outdoor testing area, making it one of the coolest work locations in the world. We have secured strong funding to get you all the tools and support you need.
