About the Role: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

This position is part of a structured succession plan, supporting long-term business continuity as the current expatriate assignment transitions over time.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and technical vision for an engineering organization of over 200+ professionals, fostering a culture of innovation while ensuring our architecture and development processes scale effectively to meet aggressive business objectives.
• Technical Delivery across Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance and Project Deployment
• Customer Management including contractual fulfillment, customer intimacy, escalations management, solutioning & business support, etc.
• People Management, Cost Effectiveness / Productivity Improvements, Stake-holder management

Above are fulfilled by addressing below delivery areas:

• Job Description, CTO- EU Technology Strategy: Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives
• Innovation: Drive innovation by keeping up to date with the latest technological trends and identifying opportunities for new products or services
• Network Infrastructure: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners to ensure the company has access to the best possible solutions and services
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory requirements in the telecommunications industry and ensure that the company is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
• Security: Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures to protect the company's network and data
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them succeed in their roles
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support the company's goals
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure that technology initiatives support the drive technological innovation, ensuring the stability and security of the company's network, and contributing to its overall success in the telecommunications industry
• Operational Efficiency: Always a symbiotic relationship most organizations ignore Promote common goals and deduce each other for excellence in efficiency
• QA Assurance: Oversee and ensure production environment is replicated in lab along with utilizing the best in class from tools, automation, capacity and test case perspectives
• Risk Management: Disaster recovery plan/ Backup & Restore are in place end to end

Qualifications: Must have Qualities

• Key Leadership level experience in Mobile Telecom Operator environment
• Technological understanding for Mobile network, Cloud Network, Transmission networks etc.

Preference:

• Willing to reside in Germany, understanding of regulatory ecosystem
• Residing or willing to move to Dusseldorf
