Senior Web Application Developer, finance (contract)

We are looking for a Senior Web Application Developer with to join our team and help design, build and enhance secure, scalable web applications. This is a hands-on development role suited to someone who enjoys working across the full delivery lifecycle, collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders, and contributing to high-quality digital solutions in a structured, regulated environment.

You will play a key role in delivering modern web applications and APIs, ensuring solutions are developed to agreed timelines, quality standards and architectural best practice. You will also bring a mindset of continuous improvement, helping to strengthen delivery processes and technical outcomes across projects.

Key deliverables

• Conduct development activities such as coding, testing and documentation
• Deliver technical solutions within the agreed time, cost and quality boundaries
• Adhere to all established Software Lifecycle practices throughout the project
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements at both a delivery and project level
• Liaise with business and I.T stakeholders such as Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Lead Solution Developer and Quality Assurance
• Provide technical advice and guidance in the development of solutions
  
  

• 8+ years experience as a Web Application Developer
• Previous experience working with banking systems and authorisations/supervisory systems within financial organisations
• Thorough knowledge and experience of C#,.NET, .NET Core, Typescript & Javascript
• Strong knowledge of Angular concepts and proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Angular SPA architecture. Knowledge of Angular application design best practices and patterns
• Strong understanding and recent experience designing REST style API, and experience designing back-end for Single Page
• Applications using C# and Microsoft WebAPI
• Strong understanding of code release cycle through AzureDevOps pipelines
• Previous experience working with banking systems and authorisations//supervisory systems within financial organisations
• Diploma/degree qualification in IT
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Comfortable with a hybrid working arrangement
