DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Architecture (AI Team)

Salary: €63,000 - €65,000 D.O.E.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing Artificial Intelligence team building and scaling cloud infrastructure that powers AI-driven systems and data platforms across a global enterprise environment.

This is a senior, architecture-focused role for someone who wants to go beyond traditional DevOps and take ownership of end-to-end cloud platform design, automation, and reliability at scale.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure supporting AI and data systems
• Architect secure, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native tooling (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
• Own Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation) and automation-first delivery practices
• Work with containerised and serverless architectures (ECS, Docker, Lambda)
• Design and optimise data pipelines supporting AI/ML workloads
• Implement strong security controls, IAM governance, and compliance standards
• Build disaster recovery, high availability, and resilience strategies
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems design
• Proven DevOps experience (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code)
• Strong Python and Bash scripting ability
• Experience with containers (Docker, ECS) and/or serverless (Lambda)
• Strong understanding of security, IAM, and enterprise cloud best practices
• Ability to operate at both hands-on engineering and architecture level
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams

Bonus / Nice to have

• Exposure to AI/ML, NLP, or LLM-based systems
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
• Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Confluence)
