Project Manager Italy SC Initiatives:
- Develop strong relationships with Global Brand team and local marketing teams to charter and lead initiatives, as well as extracting and having visibility of future innovation plans, and building a clear pipeline. Ability to influence brand / market approaches, and not only from an operations perspective.
- Prepare progress reports on major projects and provide visibility on upcoming workload peaks across different departments in the SC
- Drive clarity on initiative success criteria and ensure those are met at the respective decision gate.
- Support and drive informed business decision making through strong technical mastery, well formed risk analysis and fact based cost knowledge (clear understanding of COGS structures and project financial success criteria, P & L).
- Excellence in project execution ensuring that Global best practices are leveraged and applied whilst enabling speed to market. Includes strong budget tracking, and effective building and updating project critical path schedules.
- Promote strong team work with the multi-functional SC operations teams to ensure robust designs made at best value and ensure successful and seamless delivery of projects.
- Use technical experience and sound knowledge of packaging development to challenge packaging scope, capture and mitigate risks, and ensure adherence with Bacardi’s Global Packaging Development (DFE) process, enabling flawless execution of projects RFT with packaging development required. Capable to manage packaging technical developments when required.
- Ensure alignment with internal multi-functional project team and Global Supply team before decision gates are reviewed.
- Lead holistic risk assessment process for initiatives and drive the right business decisions.
- Escalate quickly in the right way with the right forum and based on risk identified.
- Support the Packaging & Innovation Management Lead with the adoption of global work processes, and coaching and roll out with the team.
- Ready to ‘flow to work’ by managing initiatives which are centred in one of our other SC’s where peak workload situations require.
- Strong connection with marketing and markets to develop a strong understanding of business needs. Effectively share these within the SC.
- Constructive integration of SC constraints / requirements with markets / marketing
- Effective sharing for SC awareness brand pipeline of activity.
- Coordinate regular “Project review – Italy supply”, Monthly Initiative Reviews and Innovation section of the Business Brand Reviews
- Promote strong collaboration in project teams.
- Proactively prepare key milestones, and communications for the SC, GOPS and business.
- Expert of Bacardi Innovation process and tool and effective coaching / training to project team members
- Effective close out project reviews, summarising key learnings and improvements required.
- Key contributor / effective sharing on of key learnings, improvement plans from project experience to Italy SC team, other SC teams and with Global Best Practices Project Manager.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economy, Supply Chain or Engineering.
Experience:
- Preferable previous experience in a Project Manager role with at least 3yrs experience in project management. Proven ability to manage complex projects
- Previous experience in Packaging Development roles & advantageous to have Diploma in Packaging / comparable qualification
- Experience executing successful key innovation’s inc. luxury packaging, but also value creation and sustainable packaging change projects.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with Global Brand, Local Market and all cross functional networks.
- Lead and influence strong multi-functional teams to deliver with excellence.
- Mobility – willing to travel up to 10% if required. Open to potential future relocation in the group (France, Scotland, Switzerland, USA…)
- Strong leadership and capable to manage and drive a high volume / highly complex portfolio of projects.
- Excellent project management skills and knowledge of stage gate processes.
- Excellent communication, written and oral skills.
- Capable to work and influence in a highly changing environment.
- Using Founder’s mentality to challenge the brand and the Supply Center to ensure maximum value for Bacardi.
- Italian mothertongue
- English written and spoken fluently is mandatory.
