Card Issuing Business Lead

We are seeking an experienced Card Issuing Product Manager to lead the growth and optimization of our card issuing and payment solutions. This role is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, launching new payment products, and ensuring the availability, scalability, and commercial success of our issuing infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem, strong stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience delivering card-related products from concept to launch.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain an adequate portfolio of card issuing and payment solutions across global markets to support business growth.
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with issuers, BIN sponsors, and payment partners.
• Ensure sufficient card issuance capacity and payment infrastructure to meet current and future business needs.
• Identify and launch new payment solutions to increase company revenue and profitability.
• Expand geographic coverage and payment capabilities to support market growth.
• Contribute to client acquisition and retention by providing competitive and reliable payment products.
• Monitor market trends and emerging payment technologies to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize payment solutions and maximize commercial performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a bank card business unit or a dedicated payment institution/card issuing department.
• Proven experience launching and managing card issuing programs and card-related products.
• Strong understanding of card issuing, payment processing, and the broader payments ecosystem.
• Fluent in both Russian and English (written and spoken).
• Solid understanding of customer experience (CX), user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) principles.
• Hands-on experience managing cross-functional projects as a Product Owner.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive product delivery from concept to launch.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
