PHP Developer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mid-Level PHP Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will work primarily with pure PHP 8+ to build, maintain, and improve backend systems and web applications. You should be comfortable writing clean, efficient, and scalable code without relying heavily on full-stack frameworks.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, backend architecture, and writing modern PHP applications using best practices and object-oriented programming principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using pure PHP 8+
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• Design and implement backend APIs and business logic
• Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing systems
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Improve application performance, security, and scalability
• Contribute to software architecture and technical decisions
• Maintain and update existing legacy PHP systems when required
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional PHP development experience
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8+ and modern PHP practices
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP
• Experience debugging and profiling PHP applications
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  
  

The salary range for this role is €4,000–€4,500 gross per month.
