Legal Counsel

Franmax is a company providing IT services to retail chains owned by MAXIMA GRUPĖ in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Bulgaria.

MAXIMA GRUPĖ is the largest Lithuanian retail business operating in the Baltic States. MAXIMA GRUPĖ also conducts e-commerce activities — the company operates the online grocery store BARBORA in all Baltic countries.

We’re looking for Legal Counsel to join the FRANMAX team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing commercial agreements through drafting, negotiation, and strategic legal risk management;
• Evaluating and implementing legal requirements related to privacy, data protection, and information security;
• Overseeing the implementation of international sanctions processes, monitoring compliance, and managing risks;
• Drafting internal policies, procedures, processes, and corporate documents, as well as monitoring their implementation;
• Providing legal counsel to colleagues on legal matters.

We expect that you:

• Are curious, communicative, and capable of explaining complex legal requirements in simple terms;
• Are able to work independently, proactive, and result-oriented;
• Have at least 5 years of professional legal experience;
• Feel confident using the English language, both written and spoken;
• Bring not only your experience and knowledge but also a desire to learn and grow together.
