Squad Lead (Junior-Mid)

What’s in store for you:

You’ll be solving complex challenges and maintaining our own infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic. Here are its scale and maturity in numbers:

• 6PB+ Ceph storage
• 60PB+ monthly data traffic through our systems
• 300k+ service requests/sec processed
• 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed
  
  
  

In this role, you’ll:

• Own the squad’s roadmap and align delivery with Product priorities
• Lead and grow your direct reports through clear goals, constant feedback and mentoring
• Balance features, experiments, technical debt and bug fixes
• Ensure team’s good health and high motivation
• Remove and stay on top of any delivery related roadblocks
• Manage delivery expectations through clear communication to stakeholders
  
  
  

Your skills & experience:

• Experience in IT development work environment (as an engineer, product owner, team lead, QA or similar)
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Accountability for owns’ and their direct reports’ work
• Excellent written and spoken English and Lithuanian
  
  
  

Nice to have:

• Degree in IT, engineering, or similar
• Knowledge of Proxying/VPNs

• Gross salary: 4500 EUR/month - 6000 EUR/gross. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience
