IT Software Engineer within Data Management Support

You have a great opportunity to join a team at the heart of Data Management implementation in Danske Bank, where your integration work will be key to tracking metadata, data lineage and data quality.

In Data & Analytics (D&A), we are 300+ people and growing. Within D&A, the Data Platform Tribe (around 150 people) provides tooling and operations for Data and Analytics across the Group. You will join the Data Management Support (DMS) squad, a team of 12 colleagues split across Denmark, Lithuania and India, implementing integrations between enterprise Data Management tools and various databases, streaming and Big Data platforms.

Our purpose is to provide tools that enable cross‑platform data products and ensure Data Management compliance. You will work in a structured environment with a steep learning curve, strong focus on enterprise‑grade quality and security, and good opportunities to grow your skills. Depending on your experience, we may offer different seniority levels.

We are looking for someone who enjoys scripting, automation and setting up technical solutions, and who wants to take their skills to the next level. Experience or interest in Infrastructure‑as‑Code is a strong advantage. You should be a team player, willing to ask questions and collaborate with colleagues daily in a high‑security banking environment.

You Will :

• Develop and enhance the squad’s infrastructure and integration solutions in a collaborative developer team
• Design and implement automated deployment to AWS using tools such as Terraform and AWS CLI
• Build and maintain automation scripts (primarily in Python and Bash) to support daily operations and development workflows
• Develop and support API integrations between various platforms and services
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable delivery processes
• Edit and manage configuration files (for example YAML and other config files) via the command line
• Work with Git and Git Actions as part of the version control and automation toolset
  
  

About You :

• Practical experience with Terraform, Bash, AWS CLI and working in Linux command line
• Some experience with Python scripting
• Hands-on experience using Git in development workflows
• Understanding of automation and scripted deployments, for example in CI/CD setups
• Some experience with AWS (experience from a restricted enterprise setup is a strong plus)
• Familiarity with Git in a larger or more complex setup is an advantage

Monthly salary range from 2720 EUR to 4080 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

The skill requirements within DMS are high, providing an excellent opportunity to develop advanced capabilities, particularly in navigating a true enterprise-grade development environment.
