Software Distribution Engineer (L2–L3 Support), 12-month contract

Strategic Staffing Solutions' customer, a leading Nordic financial services corporation, is seeking a Software Distribution Engineer (L2-L3) to support workstation platforms (30,000 machines), troubleshoot mass deployment issues, and help colleagues find answers to application-related questions.

What you will do:

• Ensure smooth software deployments and stable applications environment on all Group's workstations
• Provide support for packaged applications and software patching (L2-L3 incidents), troubleshoot root causes and produce resolutions, fix application packages
• Prepare and maintain knowledge base (instructions and work guides) for L1 support teams, provide training for them
• Run incident reduction plan, analyze trends and resolve issues related to Java, Adobe products and applications like Firefox, Visio, IBM PCOMM
• Work with Intune, PowerShell scripts, Sysinternals tools.

What you will need:

• Experience in troubleshooting Intune applications mass deployment issues on Windows clients
• PowerShell scripting experience
• Knowledge of Windows OS architecture, file system, registry, log reading
• Excellent English skills
• Knowledge of Sysinternals tools would be an advantage

• Pay rate: 30-35 EUR per hour
