Frontend SharePoint Developer

The client is undertaking a major transformation programme to migrate its corporate intranet to Microsoft 365. The goal is to modernise the platform while ensuring seamless access to business-critical information.

This includes migrating content, structure, layouts, and technical dependencies to SharePoint Online, aligned with strict security, governance, and digital workplace standards.

You will contribute to UX/UI design, accessibility compliance, and front-end development, focusing on modern, responsive, and user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom front-end components using React, including SPFx (SharePoint Framework) solutions
• Translate UX/UI designs and specifications into high-quality, performant, and maintainable code
• Ensure solutions align with coding standards, architecture guidelines, security requirements, and accessibility principles (WCAG)
• Integrate front-end components with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services, and existing intranet features
• Support testing, validation, debugging, and performance optimisation across environments
• Produce technical documentation, handover materials, and knowledge transfer assets
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in an Agile, sprint-based delivery model

Required Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX/UI Design, HCI, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in front-end development for web applications or enterprise portals
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js across multiple projects
• Proven experience building custom front-end components integrated with SharePoint Online, including SPFx development

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering intranet, extranet, or enterprise portal solutions
• Solid exposure to Microsoft 365 ecosystems, especially SharePoint Online integrations
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and enterprise UX principles

Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work in multinational teams
