JOB DESCRIPTION (See link to the full job description in the blue box)

• University degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Communication and Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related engineering field. Preferably an advanced degree (such as MS, PhD).
• Experience in Systems Engineering applied to communication systems/products level design, development, implementation, test and acceptance activities.
• Experience in Systems Engineering applied to CIS and large-scale system-of-systems development.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies of interest to future Command and Control (C2) and Surveillance systems, such as advanced encryption technologies, cybersecurity/threats, advanced automation, cloud computing and service models, and distributed data storage and processing.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and CIS architectures.
• Good written and oral communication skills, including the writing of clear and concise reports.
• Ability to present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing quality products under short-notice deadlines.
• Ability to cooperate with international military and civilian staff at various levels of seniority.

POST DETAILS

• Basic monthly salary:
• A2 grade: EUR 7 849.98, tax free - before insurance and pension contributions.
• A3 grade: EUR 9 674.26, tax free - before insurance and pension contributions.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Qualified redundant NATO civilian candidates of the same grade will be considered in priority.

Interviews are expected to be held approximately six weeks after the application closing date. The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.

Moreover, due to the broad interest in NSPA and the large number of potential candidates, telephone or email enquiries cannot be dealt with.
