We are on a mission to pioneer the world’s next era of play. As we grow across Europe and Latin America, we’re building The Playstack - the technology powering the next generation of sports, gaming, and fan experiences. Join us, and help make it the most widely used platform in the world! From operations, to marketing, to product, we are looking for talented people who will shape how millions of customers play, watch, and connect every day.
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience to join the Release Engineering team within Platform Reliability. You will build internal tooling interfaces, contribute to our developer platform, and act as the voice of front-end engineering within the release lifecycle. As we build more product-facing tooling — developer portals, dashboards, and release interfaces — this role closes a genuine gap, bringing front-end expertise to a discipline largely shaped by backend perspectives.

As we build more product-facing tooling — developer portals, dashboards, and release interfaces — this role closes a genuine gap, bringing front-end expertise to a discipline largely shaped by backend perspectives.
What The Role Involves
- Build and maintain internal developer-facing UIs: release dashboards, pipeline visualisations, configuration interfaces, and self-service tooling.
- Represent front-end engineering concerns in the design and evolution of our CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and release workflows.
- Partner with platform and product teams to ensure our developer experience is cohesive for engineers across all stacks, including JS/TS monorepo workloads.
- Contribute to the build capability by improving how front-end assets are built, tested, and published through our pipelines.
- Help define and track developer experience metrics (build times, DX satisfaction, adoption) for front-end workflows.
- 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, including modern frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar).
- Experience building internal tools, developer portals, or platform UIs — not just consumer-facing products.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems, build tooling (Bazel, Webpack, Turborepo, or similar), and how front-end code flows from commit to production.
- Full-stack background with the ability to bridge the gap between front-end and infrastructure.
- Strong collaboration skills, with comfort advocating for front-end concerns in cross-functional, backend-heavy environments.
- Experience working in a monorepo environment with shared build infrastructure.
- Familiarity with developer experience tooling: feature flags, service catalogues, deployment dashboards.
- Exposure to design systems or component libraries for internal tooling.
- Medical / Health Insurance
- Open Annual Leave
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Training & Learning Development
