About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join an innovative engineering team building critical observability services for a next-generation AI cloud platform. In this role, you will design, build, and scale distributed backend systems that help engineers monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize complex cloud environments.

You will work on large-scale telemetry ingestion, logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, distributed storage, query engines, and AI-assisted troubleshooting solutions. This is an opportunity to solve challenging engineering problems while contributing to a platform that supports cutting-edge AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
* Build and optimize distributed systems handling high-volume telemetry data
* Improve reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across the platform
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
* Collaborate with software engineers, platform teams, and infrastructure specialists
* Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
* Help shape the future of observability and operational intelligence within a cloud-native environment

Requirements

* 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience
* Strong experience building and operating distributed systems
* Solid understanding of scalability, performance, reliability, and system design principles
* Proven ability to diagnose and resolve production challenges
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Strong backend development experience and interested in building expertise with Golang

Nice to Have

* Experience with observability, monitoring, or telemetry platforms
* Knowledge of technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics, Mimir, Tempo, or similar
* Experience working with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
* Experience with ClickHouse or other high-performance analytical databases
