DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Security Consultant to support a leading banking client in strengthening security across its Azure-based DevOps ecosystem. The consultant will work closely with engineering, security, and platform teams to embed security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle and improve the organization's DevSecOps maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enhance DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate code security tools, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets scanning.
• Assess and improve Azure cloud security posture and security controls.
• Support secure infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and container security initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and security findings.
• Provide security guidance, best practices, and risk mitigation recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in DevOps Security / DevSecOps consulting roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security services and architecture.
• Experience with code security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, secret scanning).
• Knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Experience securing cloud-native applications, containers, and IaC.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Contract Details

• Amsterdam-based engagement with 2 days onsite per week.
• Initial 12-month contract with potential extension.
