That’s especially the case for group travel and multi-day travel where the participants get to really immerse themselves. Passionate travel organizers make this magic happen and WeTravel is here to support those travel organizers. We help them publish their trip offerings, take bookings, process payments, pay suppliers/vendors, and digitize their operations. This helps travel organizers get more bookings, save time, and save money.

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and guide the charge in crafting exceptional user interfaces. If you possess an in-depth command of the React framework, a discerning eye for design, and a strong commitment to code quality, we want to hear from you.

This role presents an opportunity to be a key member of our agile, cross-functional team of 9-10 professionals, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively within an agile framework, participating in the end-to-end application lifecycle.
• Engage with modern technologies and libraries within a microservices architecture to tackle intricate obstacles.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to smoothly integrate user-facing components with server-side rationality.
• Produce immaculate, high-quality code, while also prototyping solutions, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance.
• Develop automated tests to ensure robustness, meet business requirements, and facilitate regression testing.
  
  
  

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Preferred Experience

• Proven track record of developing and deploying high-quality web applications using HTML5, CSS3/LESS/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6).
• Proven expertise in guiding frontend web frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or Vue.js. Solid foundation in object-oriented software design and development, employing languages like Ruby, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go.
• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Experience thriving in an Agile Software Development environment.
• Familiarity with containerized applications (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) on major Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Exposure to both relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Neo4j).
