Automation Engineer m/f

For a company specializing in the design and engineering of industrial production lines for stone wool manufacturing, we are looking for a Project Automation Engineer (Control Systems) (m/f).

Our client is a fast-growing company based in Ljubljana, exporting its technologically advanced products to international markets. The Project Automation Engineer will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to final commissioning of production lines. Upon employment, the candidate will receive full support from an experienced mentor.

We welcome applications from candidates with at least 2 years of experience in designing control systems using EPLAN and/or AutoCAD (electrical installation design).

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring industry trends and proposing improvements, changes, and innovative solutions,
• Designing electrical installations and control systems,
• Participating in supervision of equipment manufacturing at external suppliers,
• Collaborating on the development and optimization of control systems,
• Supporting system commissioning, testing, and trial operation,
• Preparing, maintaining, and archiving project documentation,
• Preparing technical documentation, records, and reports,
• Performing other tasks related to industrial automation and process control.

Requirements:

• University degree (VI/VII level) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field; candidates with lower education levels (V level) may also be considered if they have relevant experience,
• Knowledge of automation systems and industrial processes,
• Independent, precise, and responsible working style,
• Willingness to work in project teams,
• Active English skills; knowledge of Russian is an advantage (not a requirement),
• Driving license (category B) and own transport,
• Willingness to occasionally work on-site abroad.
