Job Title: Lead Backend Engineer C++

Location: Relocation to Abu Dhabi

Contract: 12 months

Salary: 35k/40k AED Per Month - Tax Free

Our client is a leading tech business specializing in AI and Big data, focusing on leveraging and implementing AI tools and cutting-edge technologies. They are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to design, create, and implement C++ based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, low-latency C++ applications.
• Translate briefs into high-quality, functional code.
• Collaborate with the team to define application functions and goals.
• Ensure code aligns with project objectives.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Proficient in Kafka and Elasticsearch.
• Design database schemas to support business processes.
• Implement automated testing and unit tests.
• Proficient in version control (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of scalable application design principles.
• Understand microservice architecture and design patterns.
• Apply design patterns for distributed systems.
• Familiar with hybrid cloud environments.
• Maintain Docker/container clusters.
• Experience with event-driven and complex event processing architectures.
• Collaborate with the team to solve problems.
• Identify and resolve application issues promptly.
• Draft detailed reports on project progress and results.
• Participate in team meetings to review projects and objectives.
• Assist developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding.
• Meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in C++ programming.
• Familiar with current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and libraries.
• Proven portfolio of high-quality code and builds.
• Ability to collaborate with and mentor junior developers.
• Detail-oriented in analysis and execution.
