Business Development Manager (Cybersecurity)
Ljubljana, Slovenia | Remote | SOFTPROM
SOFTPROM is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Cybersecurity business in Slovenia and the Adriatic region.
This is a high-impact role focused on developing enterprise business, expanding the partner ecosystem, and driving sales of leading cybersecurity solutions through channel partners and direct engagement with end-users.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead business development and sales activities in Slovenia
• Identify, engage, and manage relationships with enterprise customers, government organizations, financial institutions, telecom companies, and strategic accounts
• Develop and execute business plans with cybersecurity vendors and partners
• Build and expand a network of resellers, system integrators, MSSPs, and consulting partners
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and product demos to end-users, partners, and C-level stakeholders
• Actively use and promote AI-powered sales tools (including Pitch Avatar) as part of the sales process
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, meetings, vendor engagement, PoC, and deal closure
• Initiate and support Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements together with vendors and presales teams
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
• Work closely with internal presales, marketing, and vendor teams to drive business growth

Requirements
• Proven track record in B2B IT or Cybersecurity Sales
• Experience working with enterprise customers and complex sales cycles
• Experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management
• Understanding of cybersecurity domains such as:
EDR/XDR
PAM
WAF
DLP
NAC
SIEM
SOAR
Zero Trust
• Existing network of IT resellers, system integrators, MSSPs, or enterprise customers in Slovenia is a strong advantage
• Experience working with enterprise, banking, telecom, government, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure customers is highly desirable
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience managing pipeline and forecasting
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working remotely
Languages
• Slovenian — Fluent
• English — Professional level
