Tech Pipeline helps companies resolve operational friction by fixing the technical gaps that slow them down. We are currently supporting a logistics provider with major operations in Valencia to clean up their internal routing and data collection systems. This Junior Interface Developer role is a full-time, fully remote position focused on building and refining the tools that operators use every day.
About the role
At Tech Pipeline, we focus on the broken middle of business operations. For our current project with a logistics provider in Valencia, we are addressing the disconnect between their warehouse systems and their fleet management tools. As a Junior Interface Developer, you will help build and maintain the bridges between these systems. You will not be building abstract prototypes: you will be working on the actual buttons, forms, and dashboards that dispatchers and drivers use to keep goods moving. Your goal is to reduce the friction that occurs when data is entered incorrectly or when a system fails to update in real time. This is a role for someone who likes to see their work used immediately to solve a visible, practical problem.
What you will be doing
We work differently than many tech companies. We do not believe in long-term retainers or endless discovery phases. Instead, we find the specific routing rule or integration gap that is causing trouble, fix it, and ensure the client can run it themselves. Communication here is mostly written and asynchronous. We value clarity in our documentation because it allows us to work effectively across different locations without constant meetings. We sit with the people doing the job to see where the system is failing them. If you enjoy looking at the actual logs to trace a problem and building things that make someone else's workday easier, you will fit in well here. Our focus is always on leaving the system better and more transparent than we found it.

What you will be doing
- Updating and fixing UI components in our internal dashboard using React and modern CSS.
- Connecting front-end forms to internal APIs to ensure data flows correctly from the field to the home office.
- Reading logs to identify why a dispatcher might be seeing an error on their screen during peak hours.
- Assisting in the cleanup of legacy styles to make dashboards more readable on mobile devices and tablets.
- Tracing data pathways to ensure that when a routing rule changes, the interface reflects that change accurately.
- Collaborating with senior developers to document how different interface elements interact with our core data pipelines.
- Testing new interface features to ensure they work reliably before they are deployed to the logistics team.
- Participating in code reviews to learn our standards for writing clean, maintainable, and readable code.
- Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an understanding of how they work together to build a page.
- Previous experience with a front-end framework like React, Vue, or Svelte, which can come from personal projects or internships.
- A practical approach to problem solving that prioritizes the user's needs over complex technical abstractions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain a technical issue in plain English to non-technical operators.
- A high level of reliability and the ability to manage your own tasks in a fully remote environment.
- Attention to detail when it comes to styling, layout consistency, and data entry validation.
- A willingness to learn how logistics operations work so you can better understand the tools you are building.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and basic team collaboration workflows.
- Exposure to SQL or basic database structures, helping you understand how data is stored before it reaches the UI.
- Any previous work in operations, customer service, or logistics that gives you empathy for the people using your tools.
- Experience with data visualization libraries or building simple dashboards.
- Attractive and competitive pay for an entry-level technical position.
- A fully remote work environment that provides flexibility in how you manage your day.
- Direct mentorship from senior engineers who focus on ground truth and practical solutions.
- The opportunity to gain deep experience in the technical infrastructure of the logistics and supply chain sector.
- A work culture that values clear documentation and functional code over long meetings and strategy decks.
- Paid time off and a focus on maintaining a sustainable work-life balance for all team members.
