The impact you will create
You will be part of the team behind one of our business-critical systems: an international sea logistics tracking platform that manages hundreds of thousands of shipping containers on their journey from Asia to Europe. it is the beating heart of the Schwarz Group's sea freight operations, processing both real-time position feeds and large-scale batch data from carriers, ports, and customs systems worldwide.
Define and use modern software architectures and stacks to deliver performant platforms to the customers of our own brandCoordinate with the native apps team to deliver backend APIs and contentWork in a Fullstack Team environment, contributing to both backend and frontend development
Experience And Skills You Will Need
You have 1–3 years of hands-on backend development experience with PHP and the Symfony frameworkYou are comfortable working with MySQL, and have experience with Redis for cachingYou understand how to build and maintain reliable integrations with external systems and APIsYou understand RESTful API design and how distributed backend systems fit togetherYou communicate openly, take ownership of your work, and enjoy collaborating with both engineers and product owners to solve real-world problemsProficiency in English is required - our team works internationally
Nice to Have (Plus Points)Go (Golang): Experience or a strong motivation to work with Go - we use it in parts of our stack and value engineers who want to grow in this directionExperience with Angular - our frontend is built on itExperience with OpenSearch for search and data exploration at scaleHands-on experience with observability and monitoring using the Grafana stack
