Information Technology Analyst

PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is looking for an IT Analyst on behalf of an international company operating in early-phase clinical research, with locations across Europe and the US. The role is based in Bucharest and involves close collaboration with a small local IT team and colleagues from multiple countries. Location: Bucharest, Romania

Main Purpose of the Job: The IT Analyst will be responsible for researching, testing, and implementing digital solutions that help the organization work more efficiently and maintain a strong IT security posture. You will work closely with the central IT team and professionals across departments to ensure that technical solutions are aligned with business objectives and user needs.

Job Profile:

• Monitor and continuously improve internal digital solutions built on Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Develop prototypes and deploy digital solutions to address specific business needs.
• Support the implementation of the cybersecurity program under the direct guidance of the CISO.
• Coordinate the internal IT training program under the direct guidance of the CIO.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear technical solutions.
• Communicate regularly with colleagues from multiple countries in English.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerShell, and Excel (formulas and macros).
• Ability to build Proof of Concepts and prototypes that validate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Structured, organized thinking, able to clarify business requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken - mandatory.
• Open-minded, autonomous, and comfortable communicating with both IT and non-IT stakeholders.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry is a plus, but not required.
