Python Tooling Engineer

We create technological solutions for our customers at any stage of the product development process with a focus on hot topics such as digitalization, e-mobility and autonomous systems, largely for the automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering sectors.

We are looking for a Python Tooling Engineer who enjoys building practical solutions, automating complex workflows and improving the way software teams work.

You will contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools, automation frameworks and engineering workflows used across software projects.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tools and automation solutions using Python
• Automate repetitive development, testing and integration activities
• Improve existing engineering workflows and toolchains
• Integrate tools with CI/CD pipelines and development environments
• Analyse technical problems and propose pragmatic solutions
• Write maintainable, reusable and well-tested code
• Collaborate with developers, testers and infrastructure teams
• Support and troubleshoot tools used in production engineering environments

Your profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong practical experience with Python
• Experience developing internal tools, automation scripts or frameworks
• Good understanding of software development and testing processes
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to understand existing systems and improve them independently
• Good communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with MATLAB or MATLAB-based engineering environments
• Experience with Docker or containerized development environments
• Previous experience in automotive, embedded or engineering projects
