Front-end Mobile Engineer

We're looking for a Front-end Mobile Engineer to build the client-facing mobile experience for our C33 debt lending platform. You'll own the mobile application end-to-end — from real-time dashboards and credit score displays to loan application flows and document uploads. This is a greenfield opportunity to shape how businesses interact with intelligent capital from their phones.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the C33 mobile application using React Native
• Develop responsive, performant UI components for financial dashboards, credit scores, and loan management
• Implement real-time data updates via WebSockets and Server Sent Events for live portfolio and credit monitoring
• Build secure authentication flows, biometric login, and document capture/upload features
• Integrate with back-end APIs for loan applications, payment tracking, and notifications
• Ensure accessibility, offline support, and cross-platform consistency (iOS and Android)
• Collaborate with designers to translate financial data into clear, intuitive mobile interfaces
• Implement push notifications, in-app messaging, and alert systems
• Optimize app performance, reduce load times, and manage app store deployment pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile development experience with React Native
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience building and shipping production mobile apps on both iOS and Android
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns, navigation, and state management
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling real-time data (WebSockets)
• Familiarity with mobile security best practices (secure storage, certificate pinning, biometric auth)
• Understanding of CI/CD for mobile
• Experience with responsive design and cross-device testing

Nice to Have

• Experience building FinTech or banking mobile applications
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries for mobile (charts, graphs, dashboards)
• Knowledge of Cloudflare Pages and edge deployment
• Experience with push notification services and in-app messaging
• Background in document scanning, OCR, or camera-based features
• Understanding of financial compliance requirements for mobile apps
• Experience with animation libraries and micro-interactions
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) in mobile contexts
