  • Model of working: Hybrid: 3 days / week at Wipro office in Bucharest
  • Schedule: standard schedule from Monday to Friday, also rotational on-call


Role Overview

The Vulnerability Management Engineer is responsible for end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle management using Tenable (Nessus / Tenable.sc / Tenable.io). The role focuses on advanced configuration, optimization, and governance of vulnerability scanning, risk prioritization, and remediation tracking across enterprise environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Tenable platforms (Tenable.sc / Tenable.io / Nessus)
  • Define and maintain scan policies, schedules, and credentialed scans
  • Create
  • Perform vulnerability analysis using CVSS and risk-based prioritization
  • Drive remediation activities and track closure of vulnerabilities
  • Generate reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership
  • Support audits and compliance requirements
  • Integrate Tenable with SIEM, ITSM, and other platforms
  • Automate scanning and reporting using scripting/APIs


Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Tenable tools (Nessus / Tenable.sc / Tenable.io)
  • Experience in creation and maintenance of Tenable Self-Service Dashboard.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability lifecycle management
  • Understanding of CVSS scoring and risk prioritization
  • Experience with credentialed scanning and policy tuning
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and network security concepts


Preferred Skills

  • Cloud vulnerability management (AWS/Azure)
  • Scripting (Python/PowerShell)
  • Experience with SIEM and ITSM integrations
  • Knowledge of container security


Experience & Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in cybersecurity or vulnerability management
  • Minimum 4+ years hands-on experience with Tenable tools
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or Tenable certifications
