About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Due Diligence Specialist to manage and lead all incoming due‑diligence requests from clients, prospects, and partners within the financial services sector. In this role, you will coordinate, prioritize, and deliver accurate and comprehensive responses covering areas such as information security, governance, operational controls, ownership, corporate structure, and regulatory compliance.

As a key interface between our organization and external stakeholders, you will ensure our due‑diligence processes operate efficiently, consistently, and in line with industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Due Diligence Request Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all incoming due‑diligence and vendor‑assessment requests.
  • Triage, prioritize, and allocate requests based on risk, complexity, and business impact.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end response process, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality submissions.
  • Information Collection & Coordination
  • Work cross‑functionally with Information Security, Technology, Product, Legal, Compliance, and senior leadership to gather required information.
  • Maintain a centralized library of standard responses, certifications, policies, and evidence documents.
  • Ensure documentation is up to date, version‑controlled, and consistently formatted.
  • Subject Matter Expertise
  • Provide expert knowledge on information security practices, governance structures, internal policies, risk management frameworks, business continuity, and data protection requirements.
  • Communicate complex technical or governance topics in a clear and understandable way for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
  • Review responses for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Identify trends in recurring due‑diligence questions and work with relevant teams to strengthen documentation and controls.
  • Recommend process improvements to streamline due‑diligence handling and reduce response times.
  • Risk & Compliance Alignment
  • Ensure responses reflect the organization’s current risk posture, controls, and compliance obligations.

Essential

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience managing due‑diligence or vendor‑risk assessments, ideally within a financial services, fintech, SaaS, or regulated technology environment.
  • Good understanding of information security controls, governance frameworks, business continuity, and risk management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
