Job Title: Python Backend Developer

Location : Stockholm Sweden Hybrid (2-3 days onsite/week)

Description:

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications. You will focus on ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless integration with front-end elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Write clean, scalable, robust, and maintainable Python code to build features and applications.
• API Management: Design and implement robust, secure, and well-documented RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs.
• Database Management: Optimize database queries, design schemas, and manage data storage solutions (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• System Architecture: Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, debug production issues, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Security & Compliance: Implement basic security measures and data protection solutions (e.g., user authentication, data encryption).
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: [X]+ years of professional experience in backend web development using Python.
• Frameworks: Strong proficiency in at least one major Python web framework (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask).
• Databases: Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• ORM: Experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Architecture: Good understanding of microservices architecture, asynchronous programming (Asyncio, Celery), and event-driven systems.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab).
