Business Data Analyst – AI & Analytics

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time | 2-Year Contract

Note: This role requires attending client meetings on-site in Göteborg three days per week. Only candidates currently based in Sweden will be considered.

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into scalable solutions that drive meaningful outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business processes, and reporting requirements.

• Act as a trusted liaison between business users, developers, data engineers, and solution architects.

• Translate business requirements into sustainable solution designs, balancing business needs with technical feasibility and long-term maintainability.

• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver Power BI dashboards, Microsoft Copilot solutions, Azure-based analytics solutions, and data products that support informed decision-making.

• Identify opportunities to leverage analytics, automation, and AI capabilities to improve business processes and user experiences.

• Define acceptance criteria, validate requirements, and lead testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Present completed solutions through compelling data storytelling, helping stakeholders understand insights, outcomes, and business value.

• Drive adoption of delivered solutions and continuously improve products based on business feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with Power BI and data visualization.

• Experience working within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

• Understanding of Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, intelligent automation, Power BI AI capabilities, and machine learning concepts

• Ability to identify business opportunities, communicate AI capabilities and limitations, and translate business requirements into practical, value-driven solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience with testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, modern Azure data platforms, or AI-enabled business solutions.

• Knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts.

• Experience working as Business Analyst in Data,Analytics and AI teams and familiar with Agile delivery environments.
