About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join a strategic e-commerce initiative for a leading international company.

The organization is currently expanding its internal IT capabilities and bringing ownership of its e-commerce platform in-house. This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the future of a business-critical digital sales channel.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and marketing teams to deliver high-quality customer-facing solutions while operating in a highly autonomous environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance frontend features for a large-scale e-commerce platform.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing web experiences using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Drive frontend improvements, optimizations, and new functionality across the platform.
• Contribute to technical decisions and frontend best practices.
• Work independently while maintaining regular communication with the Engineering Manager and business teams.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Proven experience working on e-commerce platforms and online shops.
• Solid JavaScript and modern frontend development expertise.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of features from concept to delivery.
• Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders, especially marketing teams.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• German language skills.
• Experience working in international and distributed teams.
• Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce customer journeys.
