Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Machine Learning Engineer working on the TennisCut app. The engineer will design, build, and optimize machine learning models, focusing on computer vision. Responsibilities include developing and implementing algorithms, training custom models for mobile ecosystem, and applying methods to advance AI-powered solutions. The role will involve close collaboration with the product and engineering teams to integrate these models into innovative applications.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Computer Vision: Proven experience with object detection, real-time multi-object tracking (e.g., ball tracking), and video analysis.
• Mobile Deployment: Strong hands-on experience deploying, quantizing, and optimizing machine learning models for mobile production environments (iOS/Android).
• Neural Network Design: Proficiency in designing, training, and fine-tuning custom neural networks (e.g., YOLO variants) from scratch.
• Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of algorithms, computer science principles, data structures, and statistical methods.
• Video Processing Pipelines: Familiarity with handling high-framerate mobile video streams, frame-by-frame processing, and sequential data/action recognition.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work independently in a collaborative, asynchronous remote work environment with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Deep Learning Frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow
• On-Device & Mobile ML: Core ML, LiteRT (formerly TensorFlow Lite)
• MLOps & Dataset Management: Roboflow or equivalent computer vision platforms
