To support our growing infrastructure and ensure the seamless operation of our platform, we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead our deployment, automation, and system optimization initiatives.

Position Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key player in maintaining and enhancing our technical infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include automating deployment pipelines, managing cloud environments, ensuring system scalability, and optimizing platform performance to handle high-frequency trading demands.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and secure infrastructure for the Python-based cryptocurrency exchange platform.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar) to support development, testing, and production environments.
• Optimize infrastructure to ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

Automation and Deployment:

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure consistent and efficient deployment workflows for both backend and front-end applications.
• Automate routine operational tasks using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.

System Monitoring and Performance:

• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Conduct performance tuning and resource optimization to meet the demands of high-frequency trading.
• Perform capacity planning and system scaling to handle growing user and transaction volumes.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement best practices for security, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
• Regularly conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments, applying patches and updates as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for cryptocurrency exchanges.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, blockchain engineers, and QA teams to support development and testing needs.
• Collaborate on infrastructure requirements for new features and services.
• Provide DevOps expertise in architectural discussions to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills:

• Automation Tools: Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, and networking services.
• Containerization: Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes for managing microservices.
• Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Logging: Hands-on experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent.
• Networking: Solid understanding of networking principles, including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and load balancers.
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-frequency trading or financial systems.
• Knowledge of blockchain infrastructure and cryptocurrency protocols.
• Familiarity with Python-based frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Understanding of secure key management and encryption techniques.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

RELOCATION TO TIRANA / ALBANIA IS MANDATORY

Fluency in English is required for this role.
