Powered by a robust Python-based Centralized Exchange (CEX) platform, we seek a skilled Full-Stack Backend Developer to enhance and optimize our existing system while contributing to new feature development for a global audience.

Position Overview

As a Full-Stack Backend Developer, you will be at the core of our technology team, driving the development of secure, scalable, and efficient backend systems for our cryptocurrency exchange. This role requires an individual with expertise in Python, backend systems, and modern development practices, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain the core backend systems of our Python-based cryptocurrency exchange.
• Implement scalable and secure APIs for real-time trading, account management, and payment processing.
• Optimize backend performance for handling high-frequency trading and large-scale data transactions.

System Architecture:

• Enhance and extend the platform's architecture to support new features and services, including staking, lending, and DeFi integrations.
• Implement secure and efficient database management systems, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Integration:

• Collaborate with blockchain engineers to integrate wallet systems and blockchain APIs into the exchange platform.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement robust security measures to safeguard user data and assets, including encryption, authentication, and anti-fraud systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for cryptocurrency exchanges.

DevOps and Monitoring:

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines, monitor system performance, and ensure high uptime and reliability.
• Participate in incident management and resolution.

Collaboration:

• Work in cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team mentorship.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills:

• Programming Languages: Strong expertise in Python and Django/Flask frameworks.
• Database Management: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• API Development: Extensive experience in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Real-time Systems: Knowledge of WebSocket and other real-time communication protocols.
• Security: Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, encryption standards, and secure session management.
• Blockchain Integration: Understanding of cryptocurrency protocols and experience with wallet or blockchain API integration.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Celery or other task queues.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Understanding of financial systems or high-frequency trading platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux-based environments and Nginx.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js for full-stack projects.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of backend development experience in Python.
• Proven experience working on complex, large-scale systems, ideally in the financial or cryptocurrency sector.

RELOCATION TO TIRANA / ALBANIA IS MANDATORY

Fluency in English is required for this role.
