Mobile Application Developer

Job Purpose

Design, develop, integrate, and maintain Enova mobile apps to meet the needs of the end users.

Key Accountabilities

• Build, maintain, test, and deploy robust mobile applications using React Native.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability across both Android and iOS platforms.
• Develop interactive and visually appealing user interfaces using Angular, React, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Ensure seamless integration of web components with mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product teams to align on requirements and deliverables.
• Participate in the architecture, design and implementation of various applications.
• Debug and improve the performance of applications for better user experience.
• Document technical designs, workflows, and processes for team collaboration.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend and mobile development trends and technologies.
• Work closely with other software engineers and provide help when needed.
• Provide timely and professional responses to other Enovians.
• Ensure the proper understanding and adoption of the work-related processes, policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications, Experiences, & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in computer science or a related field
• 5 years of experience in developing mobile applications using React Native.
• Strong experience with frontend frameworks like Angular and React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/integrations.
• Experience in Angular is a big advantage.
• Knowledge of mobile development tools and debugging techniques (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-platform development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytics skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
• Ability to work in diverse culture.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Experience in cloud services (Azure, Google, AWS) will be an advantage.
