Generative AI Engineer

Location: Oslo / Hybrid

The Role

Our client is looking for a Generative AI Engineer to design and implement generative AI functionality taking features from early prototypes through to production‑grade systems.

You’ll work hands‑on with LLMs, RAG architectures, and structured domain data to build reliable, real‑world AI capabilities.

Required Skills

• Strong Python skills
• Proven experience building production generative AI features
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)
• Solid understanding of RAG patterns, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector stores
• Experience integrating LLMs with structured or domain‑specific data
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted coding tools

Nice to Have

• Experience with Claude / Anthropic APIs
• Oil & gas domain knowledge
• Enterprise / B2B AI product experience
• Exposure to MLOps
