Senior ML/NLP Engineer

About This Role

Responsible for using LLM/NLP technology to understand and generate natural language, including intent recognition, slot extraction, slot inheritance, semantic matching, response generation, etc., to build voice assistants and agents. Leading work such as dataset construction, model training, model evaluation, and collaborates across teams to define product roadmaps. Responsible for exploring SOTA natural-language understanding technologies, including LLM, model distillation, ASR, multi-turn semantic understanding, knowledge fusion, etc., and applying artificial intelligence algorithms to wearable devices.

What you will be building

• Define the Product Direction

You will work closely with product and model teams to shape the roadmap. What should the assistant understand? How should it respond? In which scenarios should it proactively engage with the user? These are product-defining questions, and you will help answer them.

• Set the Technical Standards

You will define dataset standards, evaluation metrics, and application architecture. Your technical judgment will not be limited to execution; it will directly shape the product’s behavior, boundaries, and quality bar.

• Bring Frontier AI Into the Product

You will track what is happening in the AI industry and bring relevant new capabilities into our product. We are not looking for someone who simply maintains the status quo. If your judgment is strong enough, even the boss should listen.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a relatedfield.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in building AI/ML applications.
• Understand theoretical knowledge of deep learning and NLP.
• Experience training and deploying deep neural networks, with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Cross-regional communication skills, teamwork attitude.
