Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

Development and Maintenance:

• Develop, configure, and maintain IBM Content Navigator and IBM Case Manager solutions.
• Customize widgets and implement solutions using modern programming languages like Java and J2EE.
• Ensure effective deployment of artifacts across all environments.

Solution Design and Development:

• Design and develop Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions using IBM Case Manager.
• Integrate FileNet applications with other interfacing systems.
• Work with RESTful services and J2EE standards to create custom Java components.

Architecture and Strategy:

• Engage with customers to design and architect tailored ECM solutions based on their business needs.
• Analyse complex data flows and define technical strategies accordingly.
• Work with large-scale enterprise IBM P8 Architectures, ensuring efficient installations and documentation of business requirements.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues in applications and web servers.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of systems by proactively diagnosing and rectifying problems.

Web-Based UI Development:

• Leverage web standards and Dojo toolkit to design and develop web-based UI modules.

Requirements:

• Technical Experience:
• Hands-on experience with at least 2–3 FileNet projects, with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience.
• Strong knowledge of ECM products, including designing and developing IBM Case Manager solutions.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, and integrating FileNet applications with other enterprise systems.
• Proficient in RESTful services and deployment practices.

Skills and Expertise:

• Strong understanding of FileNet architecture, including installation and customization.
• Good knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for applications and web servers.
• Familiarity with Web Standards and tools like Dojo for UI development.

Mandatory Skills – FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Case Manager, JAVA and J2EE
