Sr Network Engineer

Mt. Laurel, NJ (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to work onsite in NJ to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewall technologies, and network troubleshooting in large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, deploy, and support LAN, WAN, and network connectivity solutions.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and telephony-related network equipment.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity, routing, and performance issues.
Ensure network infrastructure meets operational standards for reliability, security, and availability.
Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
Document network configurations, processes, and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Must work onsite in New Jersey
5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Arista networking technologies.
Deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts and protocols.
Experience configuring and supporting enterprise routers and switches.
Strong knowledge of routing protocols and internetworking design principles.
Experience with firewall administration, including platforms such as Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Check Point, or similar technologies.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and maintain high-performance network environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, or JNCIP.
Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site network infrastructures.
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
