Network Pre-Sales Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Network Engineer to join our Technical Sales & Solutions team as part of our continued business growth and digital transformation initiatives. The role focuses on designing and presenting enterprise networking and security solutions, supporting the full sales lifecycle, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients across multiple industries.


The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams and customers to understand requirements, develop tailored network and security architectures, and ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.


Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to gather business, technical, and operational requirements for network and security solutions.

• Design and propose enterprise networking solutions including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and security architectures.

• Support the sales team in client meetings, technical workshops, presentations, and solution discussions.

• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, Bills of Materials (BoQ/BoM), Statements of Work (SoW), and tender responses (RFP/RFQ).

• Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments, and technical evaluations.

• Collaborate with vendors and partners such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, and Aruba to design optimized solutions.

• Provide technical consultation on network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud networking, and data center solutions.

• Ensure smooth handover of solutions to implementation and operations teams.

• Stay updated with emerging networking and security technologies and industry trends.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to support customer engagement and long-term relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

• At least 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Network Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Network Engineering with strong customer-facing exposure.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and SD-WAN.

• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking and security solutions from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba, or equivalent vendors.

• Experience in preparing technical proposals, solution designs, and responding to RFPs/RFQs and tenders.
