Junior Lawyer

We are looking for a Junior Lawyer to join our legal team and support day-to-day legal operations across a range of commercial and corporate matters. The role is suited for a legal professional with 1+ years of experience who wants to develop further in international contracts and compliance within an IT environment.

The role is based in Kyiv with a hybrid schedule, with two office days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, review, and amendment of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, contractor agreements, vendor agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Perform initial legal review of contracts and identify provisions requiring further assessment by senior legal team members.
• Conduct legal research on various corporate, commercial, employment, and compliance matters and prepare summaries for internal use.
• Assist in preparing legal memoranda, reports, checklists, and internal guidance materials.
• Support legal due diligence activities by collecting, reviewing, and organizing corporate and supporting documentation related to clients, vendors, contractors, and business partners.
• Support the review of confidentiality, data protection, privacy, and information security documentation, including NDAs, DPAs, and related compliance materials.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assist in preparing updates regarding changes that may affect company operations.
• Assist senior legal team members with ongoing projects, audits, compliance initiatives, and day-to-day legal operations.
• Perform administrative and organizational tasks related to the legal function as assigned by senior legal counsel or legal management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• At least 1 year of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate legal department, IT company, or law firm.
• Basic understanding of commercial, corporate, and contract law principles.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and amending commercial agreements and other legal documentation.
• Experience working with English-language contracts, including service agreements, NDAs, contractor agreements, and other commercial documents.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of documentation.
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English level, with the ability to review and draft legal documentation in English.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
