Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Primary L2 Escalation Point: Serve as the main technical escalation point for the L1 support team, handling advanced software, hardware, infrastructure, and access issues.
  • Advanced Problem Analysis & Resolution: Conduct in-depth problem analysis to diagnose complex, escalated issues. Identify root causes of recurring problems and implement robust, long-term preventative solutions.
  • Infrastructure Management: Support the stability, security, and performance of enterprise-wide, Windows-based infrastructure.
  • L1 Support & Mentorship: Confidently support, guide, and share knowledge with L1 team members to effectively elevate the overall technical standard of the team.
  • Documentation: Document complex technical solutions, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and actively contribute to internal knowledge bases to empower the service desk


Requirements

• Experience Level: 2–3+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or L2 Technical Support Shift Lead.

• Escalation Experience: Proven previous experience acting as a technical escalation point, with the confidence and ability to support and lead junior/L1 team members effectively.

• Microsoft Core Infrastructure: Advanced, hands-on experience with the operations of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Strong Windows Skills: Deep understanding of Windows Server operating systems, Storage, and Networking principles.

• Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in PowerShell for administration and task automation.

• Monitoring Systems: Hands-on experience with Microsoft-centric monitoring solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor). Datadog is a plus.

• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a confident, methodical approach to troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

• Language: Confident spoken and written English is a MUST (Strong B2 or higher) to communicate effectively with clients and the global team.
