Mobile Software Development Engineer in Test

Role Overview

The Full Stack QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring high-quality mobile applications through a good mix of skills on Mobile and API automation. The role requires hands-on experience in validating mobile and backend features, identifying critical defects early, and building robust automation frameworks.

This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India development center. You will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About The Role

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and scripts for mobile applications and backend systems, complemented by strong manual testing strategies.
• Perform comprehensive mobile (Android/iOS) and API testing using a combination of automated, manual approaches to validate business logic, data integrity, and integrations.
• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and manual test cases; analyze results, log defects, and drive them to closure with high quality standards.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production issues using strong debugging and manual validation skills to ensure application stability, security and reliability.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools along with manual testing techniques to accelerate test creation, execution, defect detection and continuously improve coverage and efficiency.
  
  

About You

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in mobile (Android/iOS) automation along with backend/API testing.
• Strong expertise in mobile test automation frameworks and scripting.
• Hands-on experience in backend QA, API automation, manual validation of business workflows and integrations.
• Exposure to AI-enabled testing tools for improving automation effectiveness.
• Solid understanding of QA best practices, SDLC/STLC processes and Agile methodologies.
