Mandatory Qualifications

Marketing/Ad Industry Knowledge and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in data science, specifically within the marketing or advertising industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading data science projects with measurable business impacts.
• Expertise in model building, tuning, and applying data science in business scenarios.
  
  

Fundamental Business Skills

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable manner.
• Proficient in visualizing data effectively for various projects or studies.
• Exceptional technical writing skills.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python, and database query languages like SQL and Hive.
• Statistics: Strong applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, and maximum likelihood estimators.
• Machine Learning: Advanced knowledge of machine learning methods such as k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, and Decision Forests.
• Math Skills: Strong understanding of Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra.
• Data Wrangling: Proficiency in handling imperfections in data.
• Data Visualization: Experience with tools like matplotlib, ggplot, d3.js, and Tableau.
• Software Engineering: A strong background in software engineering is a significant plus.
• Education: Minimum of a Master's degree, preferred PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Proficiency in English (required).
