Backend Developer (Node.js + Blockchain Integration)

About the Role

AGP is seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team and build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications within the blockchain and tokenization ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise, experience designing distributed systems, and hands-on exposure to integrating blockchain smart contracts with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.

- Build and manage RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs for enterprise-grade applications.

- Develop microservices and distributed backend architectures for high-availability systems.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Database Management

- Architect, design, and manage databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Implement efficient data models, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.

- Ensure database integrity, backup, recovery, and performance monitoring.

Blockchain & Smart Contract Integration

- Integrate backend systems with blockchain networks and smart contracts.

- Develop services for smart contract interactions, including read/write operations and event monitoring.

- Work with blockchain developers to support tokenization platforms, digital asset management systems, and Web3 applications.

- Implement secure transaction workflows, wallet integrations, and blockchain data indexing.

- Design backend APIs that interact with ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-3643, and other token standards.

- Support integration with blockchain infrastructure providers and node services.

Security & Compliance

- Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and API security mechanisms.

- Apply encryption standards and secure coding practices.

- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities across backend services.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of professional backend development experience.

- Strong expertise in Node.js (Express.js and/or NestJS).

- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.

- Experience building secure, production-grade APIs.

- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and backend security principles.

- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Blockchain & Web3 Experience

- 1+ years of experience working with blockchain or Web3 applications.

- Understanding of token standards including ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and ERC-3643.

-Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
