The Senior Network Engineer Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network and cloud infrastructure to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available connectivity. This role provides technical leadership across network engineering initiatives, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction, mentorship, and oversight to network engineering initiatives and team members.
• Network & Security Engineering:
- Design, configure, and manage FortiGate, pfSense, and Cisco firewalls
- Implement VPNs, security appliances, and secure access solutions
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards
• Azure & Cloud Networking:
- Design and manage Azure networking (VNet, DNS, NSGs, VPN Gateway)
- Implement and support Azure ExpressRoute for hybrid connectivity
- Enforce Azure network security and governance controls
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform
- Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration of network resources
• LAN/WAN & Switching:
- Design and maintain complex LAN/WAN environments
- Configure switching, routing, and high-availability solutions
• Wireless Networking:
- Design secure and scalable wireless environments
- Support voice, video, and enterprise mobility solutions
• Network Operations:
- Support multi-site infrastructure across on-prem and cloud
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance
• Monitoring & Performance:
- Implement monitoring solutions (Grafana and related tools)
- Analyze performance and proactively resolve issues
• Technical Support:
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support, including end-user and desktop troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
• System & Server Coordination:
- Support systems and servers associated with network services
- Ensure uptime and service reliability
• Troubleshooting & Incident Response:
- Diagnose and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues
- Perform root cause analysis
• Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance standards
• Project Delivery:
- Lead and deliver infrastructure projects on time and within scope
• Additional Duties:
- Deploy Sign technologies
- Support real-time location system infrastructure

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Experience:
- 5+ years of network engineering experience
- Proven experience in Azure networking and hybrid infrastructure
