Vice President

Our client is looking for a Vice President to be based in Doha, Qatar.

You will direct and oversee all general management responsibilities for the North Region. This will involve developing and implementing short and long-term strategic plans to achieve sales growth as well as providing direction in business development activities to enhance company’s presence in the local market, improve customer service levels and management direction to our local organization as well as representative channels. The Regional VP will champion innovation, sustainability and a culture of safety and excellence. You will work within a matrix environment reporting on a solid line basis to the Middle East & Africa (MEA) President.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and set budgets for the region across all business units and ensure that the results are delivered. Deliver on Monthly POR and annual Targets.
• Improve destination business by working in a collaborative manner with our global organization to improve our business. Build and develop an organization that can provide sustainable growth across our business groups.
• Develop and lead a detailed strategic growth plan for the region that supports increasing our local presence either direct, or hybrid with our local representatives that improves local value addition and customer loyalty.
• Develop direct and indirect sales channels in the designated countries to improve sales and service opportunity and drive customer satisfaction.
• Develop a company culture that is based upon collaboration, dedication, integrity and continuous improvement.
• Ensure that we are continuously engaged in developing our people to improve performance and develop our future leaders through individual training plans, challenging projects and mentoring of high potentials.
• Lead teams in the development of processes and tools that improve overall customer satisfaction, reduce ‘cost of serve’ and time and ensure sustainable growth.
• Understand customer needs and trends within our industry group to enact change rapidly to address these needs. Develop direct high-level contact with our key customers including C suites.
• Engage in company’s Strategic account and Project Pursuit processes to enhance company’s content. Oversee Regional project pursuit and Regional Top 25 project list.
• Develop long-term relationships with senior management within Key Accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of all business units within the company
• Provide clear and concise reporting to direct management covering, finance, organizational, sales and operations issues.
• Work with our Representatives to develop specific sales and marketing plans, ensure these programs are carried out to increase our penetration.
• Participate in regular Representative, country and business units review meetings.
• Responsible for the overall safety, environmental and health standards of the North Region aligned with company HSE culture
• Develop and achieve company Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion objectives in the region, Be a key player in excelling the overall employee experience.
• Maintain responsibility for executive engagement, driving geographical expansion and global sales vision.

Skills and qualifications:

• Qualified in an engineering field or equivalent experience in our industry
• 15 to 20 years of experience in sales leadership roles with international exposure
• Strong communication and presentation skills
